Death Can Wait: Stories from Cancer Survivors
Roslyn Franken is co-author of Death Can Wait: Stories from Cancer Survivors along with Frank Hegyi, Jacquelin Holtzman, and Max Keeping. In addition to contributing their own personal stories that tell of their journey through cancer, Roslyn and her co-authors worked together to gather stories from others fighting cancer who were willing and eager to share their stories. The project was initiated by Frank Hegyi who invited Roslyn as the other co-authors to join him in this valuable project. Death Can Wait is a fundraising book for cancer research and cancer patient programs.
We can all look up facts and details about cancer that are readily available. However, what is not as readily available is true, unvarnished insight into what goes on behind the scenes, behind the outer façade. What goes through peoples' minds when they get the shattering news? What feelings and emotions do they wrestle with as they cling onto life? What attitudes are helpful, what attitudes are destructive? This is a book that addresses these issues. Available at Amazon.com. Also available in Kindle. |
