OTTAWA, Ontario. --- Roslyn Franken, proud cancer survivor, acclaimed author, international speaker, counselor and radio host, will be giving an educational and motivational presentation titled "From Wish I to Watch Me" at the Health & Safety Canada 2009 IAPA Conference and Trade Show, Canada’s largest Health & Safety event taking place in Toronto, Canada, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre South Building, April 20 – 22. She will be presenting on Monday, April 20, 2009 from 9:30am – 10:30am in room 705, followed by a book signing of her book, The A List: 9 Guiding Principles for Healthy Eating and Positive Living, at 10:45am in the IAPA Book Store.
Roslyn Franken will be presenting a session on the topic of "From Wish I to Watch Me: A Journey of Self-Empowerment for Greater Personal and Professional Health, Success and Happiness". This presentation defines the differences between those who simply wish they could change their lives, the “Wish I’s” and those who create the positive and meaningful health and lifestyle changes they so desire, the ones who say “Watch Me”. How do you make the leap from wishing to achieving? Roslyn shares her personal insights from her own struggles and successes in surviving cancer and triumphing over her own food, weight and life balance challenges. Participants will be inspired to get “unstuck” and start making changes as of this moment forward. Some of the nine principles for healthy eating and positive living from “The A List” book are covered in this presentation.
Roslyn will be signing copies of her book in the Book Store immediately following her presentation. See page 19 of the Show Guide available online at
