Ottawa Author/Speaker helps people discover their Power to Achieve at Charitable Motivational Event in Montreal

OTTAWA, Ontario. - Ottawa-based author/speaker and internet radio host, Roslyn Franken, is one of 5 motivational speakers to present at the Power To Achieve motivational event in Montreal, Quebec, on November 14, 2009, from 8:30am to 1:00pm at the Holiday Inn Montreal-Midtown located at 420 Sherbrooke W., Montreal, QC H3A1B4. This is a non-profit event benefiting the West Island YMCA Strong Kids Campaign while helping people find personal and professional satisfaction. Tickets are $49 which includes continental breakfast and other refreshments.
Objective of the event
The objective of the POWER TO ACHIEVE event is to empower people that, due to real or perceived obstacles, have yet to achieve their optimal personal or professional satisfaction levels.
About the event
The event comprises 5 speakers with 5 perspectives but 1 goal: to help you discover your own power to achieve personal satisfaction and professional success. Everyone faces obstacles in life. For some, these obstacles are debilitating. Our message is that they do not have to be.
The Speakers
- The keynote speaker is Gift Tshuma, a young, lifelong quadriplegic who is also an award-winning speaker, founder of his own choir, and soon-to-be law student. Gift’s story will touch and inspire.
- Roslyn Franken is an Ottawa-based author, proud cancer survivor and radio-show host who will discuss her Guiding Principles for Positive Living (www.RoslynFranken.com)
- Two-time Olympian Marie-Pierre Gagne will discuss pursuing and achieving a dream.
- Dr. Ashok Oommen, MD, Director of Cardiogenix Medical Center will discuss health optimization strategies enabling one to live longer and live better.
- Professor Robert Soroka will discuss creating one's own personal success plan.
The event is hosted by CJAD's Lisa Fuoco. The event is sponsored in part by CJAD and Cardiogenix Medical Center.
